Okay, so I went to the Whole Foods Store yesterday and showed out. I bought green tea, peppermint, tea tree, rosemary, almond, and flax seed oil. I had a botanicals moisturizer I was using and I just mixed all the above stuff with that moisturizer to make a kind of thick serum plus some mizani spradiance to seal it in. The stuff is so natural it smells good enough to eat, but the only nonedible product is the botanicals moisturizer. When I tell you ladies it feels so good, it does especially the tingling from the peppermint oil. I was wondering if I was getting too carried away? It does sound like a lot of stuff and plus I'm taking a prenatal vitamin (I'm not pregnant). Please ladies with experience let me know if this sounds like too much. I also deep condition once a week with with Burt's Bee's natural grapefruit and shea. It's just that I feel my hair isn't growing enough. The picture in my avatar was a month after the big chop in August of '08 and my current length is 6 inches in 95% of my head some areas are 6.5 and my crown is 4.5-5 inches. I have been using the wig regimen I have only had my hair unbraided once since November when I did the braid extensions for 2 months and after that my hair was braided in a circle everyday since then. People would either see me in a wig or a sew in. With All my hair braided. Does this sound like a good regimen or do I need to change some things? Oh and I just started taking garlic tablets today.

All your oils are very good to keep your scalp clean which is excellent, but I dont know for the green tea though. Anyways, keeping your scalp clean is a very good thing for hair growth, so I would use the same essential oils in my shampoos and conditioners for maximum benefits.

Thank you Mamato. Believe me I did my research on green tea and there was a study with mice and the balding mice that were fed green tea leaf extracts everyday, their fur stopped shedding and they began to grow new hair and the control group of mice continued to bald. I don't know how that works for humans, but it's worth a try. I will definitely report back to you ladies. And by the way Mamato your hair is so beautiful, shiny and thick. I cant't wait to achieve your length.
