is this a good heat protectant?

Thats the only heat protectant I have at home.
It looks cheap so I'm not sure if it'll work.

Has anyone used it before?
Is there some way I could 'test' it before actually using it? If that makes any sense.

Mercie, it seems from the look of it that this is a wrap and set lotion,like something you would use before roller setting your hair. Never heard of it or tried it. I definitely wouldn't use it as a heat protectant. Some suggestions for heat protectants are products like Silk Elements heat protection spray from Sally's, Beyond the Zone, Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide, Chi Iron Gaurd, FHI Hot Sauce, and countless others. HTH

Omg I've wonder the same thing to , Well long story short in April I decided to flat iron my hair with this product and ended up with a small set back so I would say don't belive the hype it just a regular setting lotion IMHO. No heat protecting at all.HTH
