Is this a bad idea? (rinse related)

My hair is lacking moisture and I have been using moisturizing products only for the past month and a half to gain some of it back. I am going to a BBQ for memorial weekend and I want to put a black rinse in my hair and do a rollerset. Would it be a bad idea to rinse my hair since my hair is lacking moisture? TIA

No, I dont think so...Rinses (unless the brand you use is known for being drying) shouldnt dry your hair out...some are conditioning...my only concern would be that if you are going to do a rinse AND deep condition (I'd think you'd want to deep condition because your hair is dry) moisture can cause unstable color molecules to wash out, which equals quicker fading or color not taking well...BUT, considering it is jet black, which is notoriously known for being taken by the hair no matter what due to its darkness, DC'ing shouldnt be a prob. Happy rinsing =]
