I want to wear my hair out this summer and co wash daily and puff. Is there a way to do this without sacrificing the length of my almost apl hair.

Or is this hairstyle to risky?

Thoughts? Advice?

The only way that I know it's possible is if one's hair is a TWA. I wore some daily wash-n-gos at that stage.

Once your hair gets longer than that, I think it's too risky, IMO.

Hopefully others chime in.

i don't think this will be a good idea..i think it'd be too much daily manipulation, and your ends might suffer.
if you want to cowash or rinse daily, i would put my hair in a style like braids (with or without extensions) or twists (with or without extensions). :yep:

I lie. Here are two options:

1) If you braid the roots you can pull off daily wash-n-gos and get very few SSKs. However the takedown is a beast. I did this in my SL stage.

2) You can experiment with Cynthiarf's method for a couple of days and see how it works for you. This is her vid (or it may be another one on her page): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKD-O-AC-60. She is 4a/4b, though.

I'm not all 4b, but I do have 4b sections right around my ears. If you want to cowash daily I would suggest:
1. using a really moisturizing conditioner
2. getting ready to detangle multiple times a week

I cowash a lot (off and on now) and at my length I noticed that detangling twice a week helped to keep the number of ssk's I get down. Because I assuming your mainly 4b, I would think that you might need to detangle daily :perplexed. You could use your fingers for the most part, but you would definitely want to get a paddle brush or wide tooth comb in there to get rid of your shed hair. You should consider whether or not your hair can handle that kind of manipulation.
How are cowashes working for you now? I'm a big fan of wash n'goes, so if you do decide to go on with your plan, I would love to know how it goes for you :yep:.
