I don't know about you, but over here in the mid west, it is starting to feel a bit tropical. Not only that, the weather is cool one day and tropical the next. My hair is tired of the flip flop and I end up changing my routine often. Is this happening to any of you? Please take the stage by all means.

Yup. I'm in the northeast and our weather has gotten my porosity all screwed up. I threw my hands up and said that I would just do wash n gos until the end of the summer.

Here in Atlanta, GA there is dry heat at times, so I have to start doing stream treatments on a weekly basis in the summer.

OMG...Yes!!! I swear this past year we have had the most fickle and unpredictable weather since I've lived in Southern Cali. One day it's nice, then humid, then raining, then cold, then hot as heck with brush fire warnings. My hair is like WTF!!!! I decided to stop fighting nature and just wear my hair in braids or in it's curly texture in the spring/summer and roller sets/pressed straight in the fall/winter. Right now I'm in braids and I'm taking advantage of the humidity by using a rosewater/glycerin/argan oil spray and my hair is the most moisturized then it's been in a long time.

Im in the South and it has always been hot and humid. The humidity keeps my skin glowing and my hair moisturized. My blowouts used to revert within a few days because of the moisture in the air, but now I can get a good 2 weeks.

i was just thinking today now that winter is over I need to switch to a lighter DC that doesn't leave my hair as coated. During the winter the coating i get is heaven it is just enough to keep my hair from breaking as a result of dry air and scarf friction. But in the summer it will be too much.

Yes...my hair also needs less shea butter and olive oil.

I have appreciated the warmer weather because of the tricks I have to do to keep my head warm in the winter.

Sometimes in the snow I go out with damp or airdrying hair. But that's underneath a satin scarf, winter hat and a larger, warmer scarf on top.

Now that it's practically summer time *memorial day! heyyy* I can go out with damp hair, no hat and it will be dry by the time I get to work. It's really great for bunning and cowashing a lot.

Yup! I'm just rolling with it. This humidity is doing wonders for moisture levels. Im thinking about doing what a previous poster said and using a glycerin heavy spritz (hey oyin boo, how you doin??)
