Is the cooler weather jacking up anyone else's curl pattern?

The drop in temperature has my kinks and curls going

And they were so pretty just a week ago

Time to break out the humectants...I think. (This always confuses me .... EVERY year....)

I'm curious about this as well. I thought humectants were bad to use in cold, dry temperatures...?

if the air is colder , it will draw moisture from your hair if you use humectants.

A few ways to combat it ,is to seal and to maybe use a little steam to revive.

I use NC frizzforecaset if I want to wear my hair curly when its colder. You put in your zip code and it tells you the dew forecast

You may want to experiment with heavy sealing with hair grease or silicone products.

This will be my first year natural and I do not know what to expect. I believe as long as I do my daily moisturizing and sealing I should not encounter any problems. The only issue I might have is what hat to wear. I am planning to wear satin cap under my hat and see how that works.

My hair actually likes the cold weather... very low maintenance.....in the summer it tends to be frizzy...shrinks more...and looks dry because of the sun bleaching my hair out

My hair hates winter and all things cold. This year im not sacrificing inches to old man winter. Im getting a kinky sew in or wig and keeping my ends tucked away til the flowers start to show their faces again
