Does anyone use it?

My cousin was telling me about how I should use it for hot oil treatments. Usually, I don't listen to what she has to say because she doesn't know anything about afro textured hair. Even though we have the same hair type, the texture is completely different.

So she does bunches of stupid stuff (example: doing hot oil treatments with baby oil) and her hair can bounce back, and mine just won't.

Anyways, this time she sparked my interest. I could be sitting on a gold mine. Imagine, the crisco that I use for my chicken could be good for my hair. And it's cheaper than other oils too.

I think soybean oil is a carrier oil like olive, grapeseed, and peanut oils.
An essential oil would be like peppermint, rosemary, or lemon oils.
My beginning rule of thumb to know the difference was container size.
Carrier oils are cheap and can be purchased in large (liter) sizes, whereas essential oils are sold in like 1 oz. bottles for $$$. hth.

P.S. You use the carrier oils to dissolve the essential oils, the more diluted the essential oils the less chance there is for harming yourself. There are really good books available on essential oils at any library, maybe you can pick one up.
