Is Refined Shea Butter Bad?

A lot of people recommend Unrefined Shea Butter. Why? I just got a tub of refined Shea Butter? Is it bad for my hair or scalp? Or my skin (will it clog my pores?)

Its not "bad" it just doesnt have as powerful moisturizing qualities as the unrefined version. So I dont think it will hurt your hair but it will not do as good a job as using the raw shea....

I notice no difference between the two, except the smell.

I use unrefined shae butter on my skin, my hair and to mix my hair potions. It's your friend.
