Relaxers literally weaken hair by removing its disulfide bonds. Hence, I was wondering if straightening hair with hot combs will lead to less breakage?

If you press your hair or know someone who does, how has your/her experience been? Does your/her hair break less often?

Tbh, I personally have a bit of a problem with breakage from pressed hair, but I'm still working on it. Other people may be luckier than me though.

what's your current hair condition? relaxed, natural, dyed, dry, fine, thick???
