Hi Ladies, I've got 2 questions.

I just bought some Neem and it has these little beads in it. All the bottles in the store looked like this.

Is that normal?

Also, can someone tell me how to use it?

TIA

MissNappyLady,
I ordered some neem oil last year from From Nature With Love for the first time. When it arrived it was green with a very strong odor. I was anxious to use it to fight dandruff but I was put off by the appearance and odor. I may eventually mix it with something else and give it a try.

Interesting.

Have you tried to warm it to see if they melt? If it's in a coconut oil base, those COULD just be little coconut oil balls.....

NAPPYWOMYN!! I just looked at the Neem again and the little beads are GONE! Weird! The exp. says 09/09 so, it must be still good right?

Magviv, you're right, it has a strong smell (earthy). I don't mind really it though.

My neem oil is not gritty like that. It's smooth, dark and thick. I use it to wash my face and base my scalp a la prepoo before I shampoo.

 Is it in a coconut oil base? If so, yeah, most likely, the store was colder than your house :yep:

And yeah, I'd definitely think it's still good.....

Mine looks like that when it is in a cool temperature. It stinks to high heaven, like garlicky body odor. :ohwell:

Frizzy, thanks for confirming. How do you use yours?

Nappywomyn, the ingredients just say, "Oil of Neem Seeds".

Thanks! I just mixed it with vatika & amla, put a plastic bag on my head and letting it marinate overnight.

How do you use it to wash your face?
