I'm just wondering if my hair is APL like I think it is.I know that sounds dumb. But I just want public opinion. (which is rare for me):look:

Here's the evidence:

It looks like it to me, but i read somewhere (on lhcf) that you should take a pic with your arms up and one with both of your arms down to compare (

:lachen: That's too much work for me:look:*) but anyway, it does look like you're there to me :yep: As long as you feel you are there as well then congrats.

It might be but you'd get a better picture if one of your arms were down. When the arms are raised, the armpits do move up so that it may appear as if you are when you have a little way to go:

You should take a pic with your arms down to get a more acurate shot though.

CONGRATS!

Who on earth said THAT? SO not true, why take TWO pictures? You should take it with at least ONE arm down (or both and set the timer or have someone take it for you) to get an accurate measurement because as Nonie clearly showed, APL is different with your arms UP vs your body in a relaxed position.

That's like me drawing my bra strap under my armpits and claiming BSL. Just cause I raise it up doesn't make it so.

OP, with that said, you MIGHT be APL because your hair does fall below your raised armpit but it's best to take it with your arm down to be sure.

OT, song_of_serenity ...I'm hating you right now. That siggy reminds me why procrastination is a bad thing. :cry4: That could be me if I weren't full of excuses for doing tomorrow what I could do today.

Just awesome :notworthy , you bloody show off!

Haha I'm in awe of that siggy too. My mouth dropped open when i saw that!

yup looks like it to me, you grow girl
your ends look good also, care to share that reggie?

That's sooo great to hear because my biggest issue has been how raggedy my ends always look. I actually have been doing what everyone else has been doing really.

I just wash once a week and decondition with the olive oil yellow pack. I add in sweet almond oil, grape seed oil and pepermint oil and I leave it on over night. then i blow dry and flat iron.

then every morning i use a leave in on my ends and grapeseed oil to seal, and i do the same thing every night before i wrap my hair.

Good advice! See this is why I love this forum. I would of never thought of taking the pic with my arms down. but it makes perfect sesne.

Yep looks like it!! Congrats to you!!! What's your regi if you don't mind?

I clip my ends every 8 weeks. but I only cut off damaged ends if there are any.
