Is it time for my FIRST touch-up???

You ladies know I'm newly relaxed
Well that first relaxer didn't get to the roots well AT ALL
So now that they're growing in, it seems to be that I'm further along then I truly am
Its only 5 weeks
I want to wait to 10, but I don't know if I can make it

Should I still wait?

If you aren't experiencing increased shedding or breakage at the line of demarcation, then don't relax so soon. Try to hold out for at least 8. You may want to blow dry or flat iron your roots to make the new growth more manageable and less noticeable.

If i were you i would wait untill i was 7/8 weeks post just for times sake & for parts of the hair that may have taken so they dont get overproccessed (especailly if you get it done at the salon)
