I just relaxed yesterday with ORS but I seriously underprocessed. :(

I want to know if it is safe for me to go over these areas in a few days. I am afraid that the underprocessed hair will cause breakage.

Should I just wait until the next relaxer (October) to correct this problem?

Advice PLEASE........

I received an unprocessed relaxer in late May. My stylist told me that I should wait atleast 4 weeks to try again. I getting my corrective on Friday. I think a few days might be too soon. But I don't think there is anything wrong with waiting until your next relaxer if you can wait that long.

Thanx for replying.

4 weeks?

I can wait it's just that I am afraid of breakage because of it.

If it is not breaking then I probably will wait longer.

If it is seriously underprocessed meaning you really can't tell the difference between the relaxed hair and the non-relaxed hair then I'd give it at least a week. If it feels or looks different, however, I agree that you should wait at least 4 weeks.

I saw a thread on here the other day where several ladies said they relaxed again soon after, some waited a week, some waited two weeks. I'll see if I can find that thread.

ETA- I couldn't find that one in particular, but I did a search on "underprocessed relaxer" and you'll find some threads on underprocessed hair. HTH.
