Is it safe 2 use s-curl activator before touch-up?

My hair was loaded with S-Curl going into my last touch up. I had absolutely no problems

I wait 3 days after wetting my hair before I touch it up.

BTW, I use >>> NO LYE <<< I don't know if this makes a difference, given that u use LYE

, I use a lye relaxer and I've also went into a relaxer with S-curl and no negative interactions. I think it's a great idea to wait at least 48 hours btwn washing and relaxing. However, the last time I got fed up after a wash and relaxed the very next day with no problems. I won't do it again though, because I think it makes you more susceptible to scalp irritations. hth

I believe that using the s-curl is not even an issue.

Prior to using a relaxer, you are advised from WASHING your hair for 48 hrs (apparently, to avoid scalp irritations from manipulating the scalp, and in turn, opening your pores, thereby creating sensitive scalp conditions and therefore, scalp burns).

Well, there's no rule against wetting the ends. I used to wet my ends daily and put in a bun right up until the day b4 a touchup. No problems.

So wetting ends and washing/scrubbing scalp produce two different outcomes.
