.... relax my hair this weekend since it has only been 4 weeks since my last relax but I have over 1 inch of Nnewgrowth in some places

1 inch in 4 weeks...THATS WHATS UP. What are you using to get those results lol. I know how it is when the new growth is outta control but maybe you could wear cornrows for the next 2 weeks and try to stick this out til you hit 6wks.

Ok I decided to try the lime and coconut cream again only on my newgrowth as this may help me hold out a few more weeks

The oil mix is one I found here

Thyme essential oil---2 drops
Atlas cedarwood essential oil---2 drops
Lavender essential oil---3 drops
Rosemary essential oil---3 drops
Jojoba oil---1/2 teaspoon
Grapeseed oil---4 teaspoons

Add the first four ingredients into a small glass jar. Mix well. Now add the remaining 2 ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

Massage this mixture into your scalp for at least 2 minutes every night. Wrap your head in a warm towel after treatment.

:)

^^^ i use this same formula - except i use the Ginseng Wonder 8 Oil as my base and add a little tea tree for the itchies.
I have to say it's fantastic.

Is it drying?

Do what works for you, its only been 4 weeks since my last relaxer and I am corrective this weekend b/c my hair is underprocessed from last touch-up.

If you can handle the newgrowth then don't touch-up, however if you can't handle it then touch-up.

i agree with the above, also if you do decide to relax make sure you really protect the already relaxed bits to avoid overprocessing. HTH.
