Is it possible to DC for 2 long?

So I was thinking about leaving in my DC as I do my Saturday chores...so that would be about 4hrs...is that too long? Can that backfire? Or is it truly the longer the better?

Two days a week, I leave my DC on under my wig until I get home:look: Personally my hair has never been healthier since doing this. Everyones hair is different, but I'm sure 4 hours wont hurt.

Four hours ain't bad, I think it depends on your hair. Over moisturizing can make the hair limp for some people. My sister's hair sheds if it's too soft, I on the other hand have left conditioner in my hair all day and sometimes all night with no ill effect.

First, and foremost listen to your hair. If you are doing something it doesn't like, it will tell you.:yep: With that being said, I dc my hair 2 to 3 times a week for at least an hour. On one of those days, I dc overnight. I have had no problem, and my hair is happy and healthy.

I DC overnight once or twice a week and my hair seems to love it, so I'm sticking to it. Try DCing for long once and see what your hair tells you about it.

Depends...I don't know about other fine haired ladies, but I've overconditioned many times. I think after an hour, most DCs make my hair so soft and mushy I can hardly comb it without it breaking. Overnight DCing does not work for me, but as you can see, it works great for others, so just be cautious if your hair is fine.
