Just want to get some opinions...is it possible that someone's hair (mine) can be so overprocess that I just have to cut it off? Right now I have a weave which I now know how to take care of underneath, but I was thinking about trying to take care of my hair without the weave. I tried this before and it seemed unmanageable...dry, brittle, breaking...no matter what I used. :wallbash: I think my hair was relaxed bone straight and I used too much heat over the last 15 years so there is nothing that can bring it back:cry3:. does that seem possible or do you think I CAN change the condition of my hair? The plan right now is dust the ends as it grows out and only go as far as texlaxing. I appreciate anyone's opinion. thanks

Slyver's hair was overprocessed during her last touch up, so she's stretching for a year. She doesn't plan on cutting her hair. HTH

Before i came to the boards my hair was overprocessed also. I just deep conditioned every 4 days for two months and reduced it to once a week. I never cut my hair and now it is the healthiest it's ever been.
