I work out everyday and I'm wondering if just rinsing with water is ok? I don't want to shampoo it everyday. Just rinsing the sweat away should be ok right?
I'm in cornrows so I don't want excessive buildup either.
Wouldn't a CO wash just benefit my hair though? At this point and with all the workouts I want something for the scalp. Maybe an ACV would do??
When i was in cornrows with my lacefront, i would just do a water rinse with a little ACV in it just to clean it. Afterwards, i would spray a leave-in over the cornrows to maintain the moisture balance. I hear you on not wanting to have buildup from a CO wash because it can get stuck in the braids if the conditioner is a heavy one.
Sometimes I just rinse with water. Depends on how my hair feels. With cornrows, you might want to use the ACV rince about 3 times a week, and then spray in a good liquid leave in and a a good oil, possible olive oil in a spray bottle.
