or did the price of curly pudding go up recently?
38.00...is that crazy or what! but dammit i love that stuff...its on ebay..for the same dang price...:ohwell:
if anyone has some they dont want..i can take it off ya hands...lol

I really like Curve salon/Miss Jessie products--but with the recent price increase I will not be purchasing again. Oh well, at least there products last and last.

why in the heck are they raising the prices? they were expansive enuff..now they are just outrageous! i cant say that i will purchase another product form them..i cant afford to lose 2 twenty dollar bills on one hair product and it does not plug in...

Girl, you all late and stuff. But seriously, I love all the Curly products myself. However, I have recently discovered that BBD Glass Curling Creme works just as well, and a 16oz jar is only $19. Give it a try.

Dang....I read in Essence that they made like a half a million last yr....prolly from the products.......!!!!

im late?..lol...i didnt know ...what in the heck is wrong with them...i tried the bbd glass..i dont like the smell of it..whaaa...y is this happning?!!

Yep, it went up. My manager (featured on the site) said that the price of the Silkener when up to $300 (does not include styling and deep treatment I don't think) was $275. I just made my appointment for May for my trim, same as it was in November $275 (including shingling and deep treatment was free AT THAT TIME-Monthly special). She says they are trying to "expand" open up more shops...she's pi$$ed at the price increases and started looking around, but in the end decided to stick with them because she knows what service she'll get,(bad experiences trying other places for her texturizer). She's looking for alternatives for products and won't buy those again (think she's going back to Glass) They actually called her to come in the other week because Channel 7 ABC news was doing a story on them and they wanter her to come speak, but she's in kinky twists now.

Like her, I'm going to set my limits. After they reach a certain price for service, I'll just have to stop going. I'm also giving up the products...I'll miss the Buttercreme:-(

Service too. They get like 10 heads a day...open 6 days a week.

At $300 a service...that's some income!

Wow $300 for a silkener. Dang!!!! I mean I'm all for paying for good service but even in top notch salons they give you options .... do you want the top stylist more than likely the owner of the salon or individuals underneath who do just a good as a job but who aren't well known. At Curve it's do you want Miko or ..........Miko. I wonder how it's going to affect their revenue and clientele? I guess the die hards will continue to go to Curve for service and other individuals will find other means.

Actually, the prices are still the same with the exception of the Baby Buttercreme it is just now they are charging more for shipping. I must have bought my stash right before they made this price increase about a month ago. I bought some CP and Meringue and paid $66 including shipping. Now it is an extra $10 for shipping. I don't know. I have tried so much stuff in the past and their products work the best for my hair. I may just bit the bullet, especially since I only use them during the warmer months when I do my wash n goes.

I just wonder if that $10 is added to the price IN STORES...if that is the case, then the prices are $10 more for the people (like myself) that pick it up at the salon.

That's true! I had not considered that since I don't live in any of the states that the product is sold in. If that is indeed the case that would be jacked up!

well as much as i complained, i just came back from sodafine to purchase some pudding..cost me 41.18.. 38.00 plus tax, the cashier even warned me that the miss jessie products have gone up in price..i cant remember how much i paid for it the last time i purchased it..hopefully it will last me a while..

Well I guess they are a "high end" salon with the prices to match!!!
But again--I like the products--only b.c whether I use the c.m. or c.p. I can have a style for a week. With other products I can maybe get 2nd day hair. So basically I save time in the morning. I love the baby buttercream. I have only made a dent in my products so I won't have to worry about purchasing for awhile. Then again there are so many affordable products that give great results.

I swear by their products, but at this rate, the price is becoming way too prohibitive for me. :ohwell:

Uh oh....free shippind ENDS March 13th.

Then I better by me another tub of something right now! I do not think I will be willing to shell out $50 a piece for their stuff. Oh well, I better start looking around again.
