I've been thinking about buying some for a while, but really want to try it to see if it helps with humidity and frizz. Anyone try it? What do you think. I also want something with a little bit of hold.

*waits for the it's so easy to make it girl just get some seeds put it in a pot boil it strain it set it crowd*
Lemme know if you find somewhere to buy it. Too lazy to make it

My experience is that if you make it thick it works for hold, humidity and frizz: I have thick hair, so the watery light gel is not enough for me.

By making it thick I mean
-using more seeds
-boiling for a little longer
-adding xanthan or guar gum (I use xanthan)
-adding a butter while it's hot (it melts and gets incorporated).

Yes, I didn't even like it that much but I'll be that person.
But you don't need to buy the gel. Just buy some flaxseeds and boil them. It's too cheap and easy.
It did help with frizz and I don't know about humidity. I only made 2 batches and never made it again. I've settled down with ecostyler gel.

Apparently honey helps with hold too.

I've just started using it and I think it does help. I don't add anything to it, except some EOs, but I made the 2nd batch stronger and it worked much better.

I would say give it a try. But just so you know, using a stocking and tongs, made everything soooooooooo easy.

It looks so gross. Like phlegm. But I think I'll give it a try. Does it go bad? How long could I keep it?

Yeah it does look pretty gross. I tried to melt shea butter in to mine but when it cooled down it still clumped together.
You have to store in the fridge. It's known to last about 14 days in the fridge. I chucked mine out after about 10 days because I wasn't using it. You can add things like vitamin e oil as a natural preservative.
Is there a you tube vid to your siggy?
