I have been noticing that some strands of my hair have knots in them. I saw a strand today that had atleast 3. I detangle my hair...but I'm still seeing them. Is this normal?!
I was curious because I have never had a problem with knotting strands like this before. Now I am seeing them all of the time. My K-kutter comb needs to hurry up! I changed combs for detangling...The one I'm using isn't doing a very good job.
I recently started noticing single-strand knots in my hair too. I don't know exactly what causes them. If you do a search on "hair knots," you will see that a lot of other ladies have had this problem in the past.
My hair did this something AWFUL last summer. Erica, are you using some type of oil heavy in protein or some type of "strenghthener"? I suspect it may be one of your hair products causing this, as was my case.
The only thing that I changed recently was my conditioner. I switched from Humecto to Kenra.
So, you had the problem a lot in the summer? Do you still see them every now and then? I guess I am being a little paranoid because my hair is doing pretty good right now. Every little thing has me jumping.

Hey erica, how are those splits? I have never noticed knots. Does this happen after you wash? I try to detangle under the shower head.

I'm not seeing the splits as often anymore. I think that i will detangle under the shower head from now on. Thanks for the tip HB
After every wash, I get SO frustrated. I think I need to calm down and try to get them out slowly, but a lot of times it's just hanging knots that have already come out and I just have to pull them out. I can't wait to chop!!!
