Is Alter Ego Garlic Mask moisturizing?

I used henna on my moms hair and I wanted to use this mask as a DC...will it be moisturizing enough?

If its the one that says use on scalp, then IMO no. I tried it once as a dc and it did nothing. I'd use something that specifically states moisturizing.

I just used this today….not moisturizing at all…. In fact…I used it for shedding and ended up losing a ton of hair in the shower due to tangles etc…..

No, but it does make your hair soft. It's not drying, but I would recommend mixing it with something more moisturizing or using a moisturizing instant conditioner beforehand.

That's where I went wrong…not mixing it with anything moisturizing. I did do a DC steam afterwards and my hair came out uber soft.
