Ionic Blow Dryer w/ceramic comb.."better" for hair?

I was thinking with my next relaxer to get this Ionic Blow dryer w/ceramic comb attachment w/4 heat settings and "cool shot"

I have heard ionic heat is better for your hair (like ceramic irons better than metal) But is that really true? If so, how is it better? Also, if anyone has a possible review they can give me that would be even better!

I have a ionic blow dryer nad it does make hair feel so much bettermore silkier... in my opinion, but mines didnt come with a comb it came witha freaking diffuser, which I dont WHAT to do with
