Ok so I have been posting on here about hair issues and have been getting phenomenal help! Thanks sooo much  I had read about the vaseline challenge so I started that last night and sadly I can't do it..........it made me itch and I couldn't stand it. :nono: BUT then I read about adding salt, baking soda and lemond juice to your conditioner AKA Kiya fizzy........That was AWESOMENESS!!! I can feel an improvement already.

I also bought just about every product that I thought would work lol My husband let me which was wierd.........I think he might be wanting some favors or something later :lachen:I'm just glad to be having a tiny bit of something to work with!

Salt+Baking Soda+Lemon Juice might be EXTREMELY drying for some ladies' hair

don't want nobody just doing this for the awesomeness

I'm glad it worked for you tho, your hair must have needed extra cleansing, or clarifying or possibly had too much protein. I wouldn't do this whole combo together too often. Tempting fate , be careful :yep:

mrslollis, are you talking about from this thread?

http://www.longhaircareforum.com/ha.../262381-accidental-bit-moisturizing-mojo.html

So - I tried it again - the baking soda and citric acid mix - plus just a TINY bit of salt. It foamed. I put it in my hair. It tingled. I rinsed it out - and AS I was rinsing it out, I could feel the difference. My ends, before, as I pulled my fingers down, I could feel how the ends got 'rough' about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch from the end - now, nothing. My ends were just as smooth and as sleek as the rest of my hair - and it was SO moist. SUPER moist. I'm talking, I almost considered skipping my normal mid-week DC, because my hair felt luscious.

IA.....I was just about to suggest this. Just be careful and don't do this treatment too often.
