For braids/weaves/crown & glory method. They have the strengthen (which I think is the one to use) and the moisturizing. The one I used back in the day was a white bottle with a brown pic on it without a spray, that said original (not sure if they still make it). So which one is it? TIA!

I've used the one in the brown label as a staple for years. I don't know why Infusium 23 is not more popular on this board, but its main ingredient is the Panthenol which softens and I guess it just agrees with my hair.

Check out your local BSS. About 2 weeks ago, I picked up the original formula (white bottle with the brown label) in a large bottle from my BSS. So they do make it. I've never seen this version in the drugstore or supermarket; only the silver bottles.

Target has them, too. I always use the moisturizing leave in formula when I'm in braids...like right now. It packs a big moisturizing punch with strengthening properties. I don't ever have issues with breakage while I'm in braids or kinky twists.

I have the moisturizing formula. It says moisturizing but it doesn't give me any "slip", does anyone else have this issue?

I used the strengthen one when I was using the crown and glory method.it worked well for me.

I use the repair and restore one, with the green letters. Only Step 3. It works for me as a detangler also, when i had my hair in plats i sprayed them everyday and then used oil on top of that, and my hair was so soft. I love the green label, i have never seen the brown bottle. They have some new stuff out too that i saw yesterday. They have a intensive treatment, and some new sulfate free products that are for colored hair.

Moisture and slip are two different things. Just because something is slippery, doesn't mean it's moisturizing for your hair. It just means there is stuff on the surface to aid in detangling.
