I have a big ole jug of the Original formula, what could I use to spice it up a bit? I've had it for a long while, I don't know if I should keep it or toss it, it doesn't have an expiration date but it smells good.

On growafrohairlong, Robin mixes it with african royal braid spray to use as a moisturizing AND strengthening mix. PLEASE don't toss it. You might even add some EO's and a little oil. Its a great product.

Great idea, I just so happen to have some braid spray, I was looking at the ingrediants thinking this would be a good leave in for roller sets.... When you say EO, do you mean olive oil?? I was thinking maybe something light like almond oil....

I won't toss it  Thank you, you are a doll ! Now I want to con wash my hair for nothing, I'm such a dork! LOL

I love infusium 23 and found several small bottles on clearance and got them for .50 each. I was reading through a lot of old posts last night and saw where someone mixes theirs and uses it as a daily mist (guess it could also be used for rollerset, regular leave-in, etc.).....

I have mixed one of my bottles with jojoba oil, castor oil, WGO, surge, and some S-Curl. I use mine to spritz my bun daily (and afterwards just bun it back up)

HTH!

See, you knew what to do all along!:) an EO would be something like tea tree, peppermint, rosemary essential oils. they give really great scalp stimulation and encourage hair growth
