Does anyone use infusium23 products? I see alot of the ladies love Keracare of course, but what about Infusium23. I think it actually does a good job. Give some input ladies?

Before I really started taking care of my hair, I used the leave-in and it made a tremendous difference (this was during the era of the hot comb  and not wrapping my hair, etc.) I really can't speak for the rest of the line, although I am interested in trying them.

I just started using the Heat Protection spray as a leave in.

I started using it because for weeks, I had been seeing my BF (type 2 long hair in a ponytail that tends to get frizzy is not moisturized.) with really nice shiny hair.

I finally asked what he was doing and he said that he was spraying that on his dry hair.

It kinda reminds me of the Nexxus Heat Protexx.

Anyway, I have used it as a leave-in before my serum for 2 shampoos and I really like it.

It will take longterm use for me to really decide if I want to rebuy, though.

I use Infusium 23 leave in while doing the Crown and Glory method, and I love it!!!!!!! It makes my hair really soft.

I use the Infusium Complete Moisture Restoration Treatment and I love it. I put it on my ends every 3 days and it really does help my hair stay moist.

thanks so much for the input ladies. i plan on making infusium23(poo,con and leave in) a part of my weekly regimen-so i just wanted make sure there was no really bad reviews. i use to use infusium about 2 years ago and it helped restore my damaged hair, but nowadays companies change their products so much you never know what's in the bottle. still bumping for more replies-whether pros or cons. Thanks again and MO HAIR!!

I did not have a good experience with Infusium. That stuff really made my hair dry like straw. Terrible. But of course, YMMV.

I don't use it anymore mostly because there's too much artificial stuff in Infusium. While the conditioner and leave ins did moisturize my hair in the short term, I think for the long term - I'd rather leave it alone.

Something about turning over a bottle and see 23 products and only being able to pronounce ONE (Water/Aqua) is bad news.

thanks for the advice. so in your opinion, what would be a good shampoo/conditioner?

It depends on the texture of your hair. I'm a recovering PJ addict so I've tried a lot of stuff. Right now I'm using Formula's by Ecoly - Papaya Shampoo and Sage Conditioner (and occassionally the TriWheat Reconstructor). I've also used Crome products which I liked, but they're pricey.

Relaxed Hair: I've used the Moisture Maniac from TIGI line and liked it a lot - but just stopped for not good reason. Same thing with the Oatmeal and Honey line from Catwalk.

Right now I'm rocking the curly girl routine so I'm using my Formula's and then detangling/CO washing with Suave Milk and Honey. You can't beat $1.29 a bottle!! :)

Ok, I am an idiot. :D I got home last night and realized the spray I mentioned is not Infusium. It is by Tresemme.

I'm afraid I had the same experience with Infusium as Cichelle. My hair was literally like straw. It just wasn't for me.

I use to use it all the time before I joined the boards here. I just got into so many other products that I really enjoy that I stop using it. I have no interest to repurchase it.

This what I do too. I sometimes mix it with whatever braidspray I'm using. It works really well.

Infusium 23 (leave in treatment aka Repairology used as a detangler) :woot:

It's been one of my staples for the past three years. It works better than any detangler I've ever own, and it very inexpensive. I use it when I go to the salon--which is once every two weeks. :yep:

Infusium 23 works like magic on my type 4a/b hair. :dance7: It gives very good slip, so I don't have to mix it with anything.

I'm not a fan because their products turn my hair into a tangled, mushy mess. :nono: My mom has used them in the past (Unlike me, I think she's probably a 3c and does not have fine hair) and was really pleased with the results. I'm not sure of the exact name of the prodcut, but I think she used a leave-in and shampoo for dry/damaged hair.

The leave in I23, was wonderful! I used it under C&G methods(sew ins), and it was beautiful! During take down, I hardly had shedding or breakage!:yep:

I've used an infusium & braidspray mix (per the crown & glory method) with braids.

I also spray my sopping wet hair with and infusium& water mix right after every wash/cowash

I use it and I love it. A very popular dominican salon in DC uses it on practically everyone but I don't think they know it.

Okay so I am looking at the Infusium 23 site and they have a number of varieties of leave-ins, which do I use? The one for moisture sounds like the right one but I wanna know which one was intended for the C&G method. I saw the video and the bottle she had was very different than those now but I wanna know which is the alternate. :) Thanks.
