Indian Hemp and Curl Wax

I bought some Indian Hemp one day because of nostalgia. I used it as a kid. I also used some curl wax on my natural hair as a heat protectant when I straighented my hair. I did not have any reversion for a week. It was hot last weekend and I was at a cookout all day Saturday. I went for a walk with my boo the other night and no reversion. I think I found the answer in keeping my style in the DC summer heat and it is curl wax.

I just used the indian hemp today. Does anyone esle use some of the old techniques.
