In your opinion - what is the best serum out there

John Frieda relax texture correcting serum is expensive ($9/1.6 oz), but it detangled all my hair and tamed my new growth all the way through week 8. It's really thick, and you can find it at any drug store with an ethnic hair care section.

I like the Kerastase Oleo-Relax Serum, but I am going to try the L'Oreal version to see if it's as good for the price.

I think it gives more of a glossy shine, not so much of a greasy look like oil

it also has more of a velvety not greasy feel on the hair. HTH--jainygirl
