It seems like my hair sucks up everything!! It will moisturize for a while but then it seems to make it dry :nono:... any suggestions??

Try using a spray moisturizer and then use a creamy one over it. I use S-Curl or Paul Mitchell Awpauhi(sp) mist, then I apply some NTM silk touch leave in.

My hair sucks up everything except Salerm21, NTM, and JBCO. What I do is I put the Salerm on first, then NTM, then I seal with JBCO. I have 4B hair and I'm telling you this works. The key to moisture for me is that I put these things on my hair while it is wet (while airdrying --or before you start blowdrying if thats what you do). Then I just "touch up" the moisture twice a day with either Salerm or NTM. Occasionally I'll add a small bit of JBCO. The only part it doesn't work on is for my stubborn 4zzzz nape when I'm strethcing and it's time for a touch up -- there's nothing in the world that can save me then.

My Staples:

Giovanni Direct Leave In Conditioner
Jane Carter Hair Nourishing Cream
ORS Carrot Oil (I seal & baggie my ends w/this too...:lick:)

I agree with what the ladies have said. I have been using dove moisture mist which i luv and sealing it in with oil (coconut, castor)/moisturizer (ORS, BB).

Also I second the MNT recommendation. My hair loves the oil cremes too. My favorites are the soy and carrot.

HHG-Hope you find something that works great!
