What product works best to keep your hair nice and smooth so that it is easier to extend the time between relaxers?

I agree with loca about using s-curl. I use this if I am just doing wash n go's while trying to manage the new growth, but once i am after 12 weeks post, I have gone to the salon and let them rollerset it and they used Paul Mitchell's Skinny Serum to flat iron my new growth and when they were done, my new growth was verrrrry straight.

I use S-curl to tame the new growth. But I also make a mix of my own, with the basic format of Moisturising Conditioner + Oil + Water in a spray bottle. I go light on the conditioner and heavier on the water and oil, shake it up real nice like , and spray on my edges and hair. The water makes the kink relax, the conditioner keeps it sleek when it dries, and the oil gives it shine. Works for me so far.
