ADIVCE! alright I want to grow 16-18 inchs over next two years and I know I can grow close to an inch a month because Ive already experinced with vitmans last few months and have seen GREAT results! Along with protective styles,deiting and other menthods...

Now heres my question;
1)Should I get powered MSM or tablets?
2)Should I get Fo-ti ?(DEN1 uses)
3)protain shakes or twin labs amnios? or a comba of the two but alternate between days(I ask because I'm trying keep my weight in check)
4)should i try Ultra thick and shake for hair or sitck with GNCs nail/hair

All suggest and ideas! :) Thanks in adanvce

Hey sweetie...I just took a look at your fotki...Congratualtions on going natural...which I was a little suprised given that your ultimate goal is to have texturized hair?

Neway, I think it's great that you want to work on developing a healthy hair regimen, however, one of the things that took me forever to learn was patience. THERE IS NO MIRACLE CREAM...no matter what anyone says about MTG, Grape Seed Extract, or any other magical growth potion. The only thing that can really grow your hair is time...the way to maintain the growth depends on how good you take care of it.

My reccomendations to you are:

1) Find your staple products. You seem fairly young, and if you're not in college yet, you have yet to enter the hard:lol: years where the parents are giving you the spending cash they once did. My reccommendation is that while the living situation is realtively cheap for you, figure out what products work well for your hair and stick to them. This will not only make things cheaper in the long run but with also help you be able to learn what does and what does not work for your hair.
2) Unless you have been taking these vitamins for a long period of time, I would try taking one at a time. If you are taking more than one at a time, it is harder for you to figure out how your hair and body react to each.
3) Knowing your hair beyond the products/potions is key. Figuring out what your hair needs, reguardless of whatever particular product you are using is key. This helps you in the future in case a product gets discontinued or whatever. For example, figure out if your hair is dry in some areas, needs more conditioning in other area...KNOW YOUR HAIR. This will help you diagnose problems you may have with it in the future.
4) Work for hair health as well as length. I noticed that you have set some very lofty hair goals. I think this is great. However, I think you should also focus on the overall health of hair. On average, the hair grows six inches a year...if you can get higher than that...GREAT...if not, if your hair is in excellent condition, than you are still doing better than half the pop. of black women.

I'm sure the other ladies will have great advice about the particular products/vits...HHG and best of luck. --C

Thanks a ton ;) !I've tried a ton and taken out a ton 4 vitmans and I've seen great results from it and over all health of my hair had skin/body and nails ive cut off all my hair in late Augest and my hair grew in two months while i was expericing with vitmans 1 1/2 inchs of growth! and i say 16-18 because im really looking for 10-12 inchs of growth (i have 4 inchs of newly fresh naturaly hair already on my head) so id add up to be 16 or 18 inchs OVERAL, and i'm a college student and i already know what works for my natural hair, how it like mostuire but not to much for protain and so forth and Ive been experincing already with the products and come to find some favorite deep condtions and stuff.. honestly ive been around here since Augest ;) but just lurking
so thanks so much! so ill keep that in mind ;)
