I get it blow out and trimmed today. I've been having abit of a "slump" and I figured I'd give my natural hair a fresh new start with a Begiun/blow/trimmed look

Or do you think It well be be to much for my hair?

ok, my first thought was , but mostly because i think blowouts are harsh (my idea of a blow out is using a blow dryer, brush, and tugging and pulling on the brush until the hair is straight--is this correct?) I have colored hair and i don't use a brush at all. I recommend that they trim the hair before the blow out to get rid of any damaged ends b/c colored hair may snap if it's handled roughly and isn't moisturized enough .

Finewine, I was just thinking about a blueish/black rise or possiably Indigo'ing my hair..
I do need to get my ends trimmed though so I know I'll be getting a rollerset then blow out because I need to trim off some of my ends.

Yeah I had gotten to that stage myself. I just didn't want to hide it no more. I had bought a box of dye but I'm too chicken to use it. It's still sitting up on my dresser. My only concern with it is that for one, my hair is fine and I'm scared it's gonna cause breakage or dry my hair out. I don't want to lose any of my progress. And 2, if I dye my hair, even though I only planned on dyeing the front, my hair won't match my hairpieces anymore so I might not be able to wear them. I think I might just let my stylist do it later this year.

What about twistouts or a braid out?

Girl I have a thick head of 4b/ish/4A/ish hair and my 4Aish hair are tight as heck! My dad has head of 4a/ish hair and its looks beautiful when wet!

My homegirl whose on the board also gave me a place where she got her hair blow/out

shes textlax but she just used Beguin on her hair like this past couple weeks and her hair loookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk soooooooo nice and it a dark black'ish blue!

I want my hair dyed that color then I would give it a protain treament and get it blow out and trimmed but I'm scared it could take a number on my hair also.....I just dont know I'lll probably just get it blow out and trimmed
