Are the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream and Burdock Root Butter Cream good moisturizers?

Probably two of the best natural ones out there!

Amla and Olive is really thick. Burdock Root is thick too but just not as thick. I have fine hair and I find the Amla is too heavy...hence the name . Burdock is just the right consistency to moisturize but not weigh my hair down too much.

Both are very moisturizing. I just started trying the products out. I put the Heavy Cream on one side of my head, the Butter Cream on the other, and mixed a little of the Hydrating Balm with both. I found the Heavy Cream to be a tad bit more moisturizing but both are the best out of anything I have tried. It's day three and my hair is still moist! I haven't had to spritz or moisturize at all.

I am a first time Qhemet user myself, I purchased both the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream and the Burdock Rook Butter Cream (among other things). I have been using both of them exclusively for about two weeks, I interchange them trying to decide which one is my favorite but they are both amazing and extremely moisturizing. The only difference is that I have to use less of the AOHC because of how thick and creamy it is, but they both do a fantastic job at leaving my hair feeling soft and moisturized without making it feel greasy and weighed down. I seal my ends with the Hydrating Balm and have great results every time (that's one thing I love about qhemet products they work so well alone or together.) If you can't decide between the two try buying sample sizes of both and see how they work for you and you can make up your mind from there, you never know you might end up in the same dilemma I'm in and decide that you like both. (Personally I might just continue to purchase both, because my hair absolutely loves it )

Ditto for me. The products made my hair softer to the touch.

the names pretty good indicators of the best uses of the products

heavy cream I use right after washing as the initial moisturizer.
butter creme I use to refresh twistouts and twists

I use either on my edges over a LI moisturizer

I looooove the AOHC for my twistouts on damp hair!! It is the B-E-S-T! I was looking at something to use as a refresher for my twistouts (I don't really like the AOHC for dry hair), so I'm going to follow the above poster's recommendations for refreshing twists! Thanks SimJam!

I'm a huge fan of the Burdock Rook Butter Cream. The Amla was just a bit to thick for me. But I suggest trying out the samples.

The heavy cream is great for me, but I moisturize with water and seal with that. I also loooooove the olive & honey balm...lawdamercy!

Amla was too thick for my hair.

Love the Burdock Root, I try to pick them up locally in DC at this vegan store. I mix it with Honey Hydrating balm and it's PERFECT.

Tea Spritz
Burdock Root
Amla & Heavy Cream
Olive Honey Hydrating

I use them at different times for different things all of it is GOOD.

I have fairly fine natural hair and BRBC is the bomb on my hair. I use AOHC on twist and they stay moisturized for a week without reapplying product.

Thanks for the tip about using BRBC to refresh twists and twistouts! I need to but it and try that because the AOHC can be too heavy for my dry hair.

I love the AOHC on freshly wash hair. Just got my sample of the OHHB. I used it to refresh twists alone, then in combo with the OHHB. I think I liked the combo best. I need to adjust to using the OHHB, it is a learning curve due to its consistency.

1QTPie, if you're in MD -- the Hair and Body Boutique in Silver Spring has a good selection of QB w/testers too. They carry lots of natural lines actually. I finally visited Senbeb and they only had a couple of prods at that time.

ETA: I love the CTDG too! I was shocked that it works so well. I apply it on my hair, let it sit for a couple of minutes, work it in a bit, then get to detangling.
