I'm relaxing tomorrow and I need some protection

For the rest of my hair!

Since I started relaxing fully about a year and a half ago, I noticed that my ends have become straighter and straighter. I'm not sure why this is happening because I use vitale and they have a prefoundation conditioner that is supposed to prevent this from happening. Maybe i wasnt using it right but it doesn't matter because the beauty supply here doesn't sell it!

So now I don't know what to use besides vaseline to protect the hair that is already relaxed.

Any suggestions?

not trying to be a pain but what brand? I need some names, product names to be exact:)

No problem. I didnt want to keep pushing profectiv. LOL

I always put the profectiv Breakfree, but when I want extra protection (and remember), I use Profectiv Healthy Ends.

Thats cool. I'm not a fan of Profective which is why I wanted to know of some other brands [of cream protein pomade]...but....depending on what you name I might end up trying Profective anyway:yep:

Thanks for all the good suggestions....some of them were in my head already. I just may use them all! I mean it can't hurt right? I just don't want my precious ends to disappear.:nono:

I have always used oil like Keracare Essential Oils. I make sure my length is well saturated (not dripping) so if any relaxer happens to fall on it or if I accidentally overlap, my already relaxed hair is well protected.

Dont put too much on your ends! In my opinion, if you put TOO much, when you manipulate your hair to apply the relaxer, you could get breakage. I'm not saying DONT be generous with the protective products, just dont put any and everything in excess amounts.
