All right, girl. I just wanted to say that I'm really going to buckle down and keep these ends protected. Two nights ago, I've started with my jar of curl activator and my sulfur 8 hairgrease on my ends (about two inches up) and will continue with this nightly routine (along with co washes and rinsing daily) and see what gorgeousness will prevail by next summer. Oh yes, I'm going to get to D.C. and STRUT around (probably looking like a chicken) and owe it all to your simple routine. How ya like me now???

AWW MAN! I thought Adrienne said to use Vaseline on the ends. Now I have to go out and buy Sulfur 8. Good luck Leisha by the way. My hair was your length not too long ago, I am sure u will be at goal in no time.

Kking, u don't have to get the sulfur 8 if you don't want to, that might be her preference. Adrienne does use vaseline on her ends.

Oh....I thought so...I wear a relaxed roller set/wrap and I plan to shampoo only once a week...will there be too much build up if I use vaseline on my ends nightly? Or just do once a week after my wash? I also use Headdress nightly as a leave in...too much ya think?

If you wear your hair wrapped, applying something heavy on the ends (like vaseline, etc.) may be too heavy. Your hair probably wouldn't 'fall' the same with heavy ends. A lot of us do this to keep the ends protective while wearing protective styles.

KKing, she did say vaseline, but since I had some sulfur 8 and it has petroleum in it, I thought I'd just use that. Sorry to confuse you! Yes, it's making progress. It's about five inches longer than it is in the most recent pics on the site. I will put some updated ones up there though.
