I'm going to be APL by June. I'm so happy. I can't wait. I'm in my house jumping for joy showing my hair to my SO. I know this is not long but damn it, it's the longest my hair has ever been.

I took this today while i was redoing the back braids.
I can't wait until June when i can clam APL.

ETA: I'm going to be acting like a fool this summer with my APL hair.

I think so too. When i make it to BSL, i will send Robin a e-mail, thanking her for her site and wonderful information. I don't follow most things from there but the pics for her hair (when she use to have them up) did help me realize that i can have long hair through braids. I love braids. I can wake up in the morning and not worry about what I'm i going to do to my hair. This helps most when I'm running late to work.

Congratulations on your progress Shynessqueen ! One day, I too hope to be at APL. I also have to say that the hair at your nape is very long! My nape is tore up. It's barely a half of an inch long . Do you do anything special to care for that area?
