My mother used to always add a big hunk of aluminum foil on mine. Don't do that.
You can add the bead, take the end up the plait and fold it over the bead to meet with the plaited part above the bead, and add a rubber band if that makes any sense.
i was going to tell her that. U beat me to it k.
Also, i should add that they have those ouchless ones (small) - black, clear, white and colored - BUT they do break easily and you'll have beads all over the place (speaking from experience here). I would suggest that you get the small black rubberbands, soak them in olive oil, and then apply them to ur daughter's hair.
ITA with CaramelHonee. I tug on my daughter's beads a little to make sure the rubber bands will hold. I like the ouchless ones but they break too easily.
I put them in the same way Karonica explained. I use the small black ones (rubberbands). I use a tiny pair of scissors to cut them out when I take her hair out to eliminate the breaking of her hair. there are even some bss that have the pack of beads that come with a little device that helps get the beads on faster. it is great, works almost like your sewing. it saves so much time and it doesn't damage the hair. i can put 5 to 6 beads on at one time!
