hey everybody! i fell off the board early last spring. my hair was doing well, i had a regimine and i was living in a flexi-rod sets! invested in a professional hood dryer. all was well. i even started trying to transition. i went 7 months, but i got very frustrated with my hair everyday.

i bought a house at the beginning of the summer and i got completely off my square. i moved, didn't keep up with my regimen. i got some cornrows from some new chick (to go to vegas in july for my sorority convention). they were so tight that on of my eyebrows was pulled up for at least a week. i looked like i was constantly being sarcastic. of course, when i took them out, i had major breakage...an entire section...bout 1/2 left... luckily, the patch is in the middle of the side of my head, so it's covered (it's growning in now). i also have breakage at my nape. so, i am starting over. i have come back to the board to relearn everything i've obviously forgotten.

i will be glad to "see" some of you all again (Caramel Honee, Peachtree and many others) and i am looking forward to getting to know more of you.

the sad thing is, i'm serious! there was not one strand on my head that was free. they were all inside a braid. and for my poor nape (which is shorter), it was all pulled up. my friends would look at me and say," wow, it looks like your head should hurt."

I've had braids like that before so I know how your braids must've looked (and felt) LOL:lol:

Welcome back!
