I need some deep conditioner NOW. I don't have time to order my beloved Hairveda. The only deep conditioner I know that i love almost as much as my HV that I can get on the ground is Aveda damage remedy but the 33oz bottle costs $90! Don't nobody have time for that!!! :(

Can someone recommend a great DEEP conditioner I can get on the ground ? (And not Shea Moisture brand.... My hair hates their conditioners and No cones please)

It costs how much???

I wish I had a suggestion for you, but all of my hair products are homemade or super cheap. I hope somebody responds because that price is the wrong answer.

Does it only come in 33oz? Could u get a smaller one until h can order the other

I may end up doing that. But i would like to spend the same amount of money and get something that will last more than one or two uses. The 16 oz costs less but that will be two uses on my big head. My hair drinks condish. :(

I'd be real careful taking advice from hair I don't know...that can mess you up worse then the $90

What are your hair properties? Fine strands? I guess you like protein?

Gimme some recipes

1/4 cup coconut milk
2 tbsps coconut oil
2 large bananas
1 tsp honey

Banana baby food is better if you don't have a blender. Banana chunks are not easy to rinse out.

My hair is fine strand, medium density, high porosity, and color-treated. Not protein sensitive.

Ok. Here's my stats. I'm 3c. Transitioning. Fine, fragile hair that Loves protein. I'm Not a big moisture head. My hair loves thick creamy protein conditioners. Hates glycerin. Hates cones.

I would say if your buying store bought stuff aubrey organics mixed with some oil its very thick or i like darcy botanicals pumpkin seed condish that is also thick, but you have to order it.
I see you said your hair likes protein i also like curl junkie repair me hair conditioner that's protein based.

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose is really good, maybe they have that. Its what I been using for 2 years. Vitamin shoppe usually carry that if you have one near you, that store is all over the place now

Any Giovanni they have some good protein conditioners too, you can get some at Vitamin shoppe, they also sell aubrey; aphogee 2 min reconstructor at sally's. I've recently tried shea moistures mask deep conditioners it's been good. Hydranatural therma is good.
HV has been very fast for me, I'm in maryland.

Call whole foods or vitamin shop for GPB to see if they have it in your area.
Report back on how you like it if you find it.

Thanks! I will try vitamin shoppe tomorrow.

I'm in Maryland too but HV still takes weeks. I'm placing an order but I need something for this weekend.

Those are almost my stats. Aubrey's GBP will do you a world of good. Whole Food stocks it. :)

If you're REALLY desperate and nowhere near a WF, you can try the Egg Bomb recipe on MakeupAlley. All my sisters swear by it and it has several hundred reviews online. Really simple too.

If you'll only get 2 uses from a 16oz bottle, does that mean you're willing to pay $90 for 4 uses of the 32oz bottle? Girl, that's a lot of money you're rinsing down the drain.

After I decided that I wasn't going to be a product junkie anymore, I started buying things that I can buy from the store...and if I buy online, it has to be something that I really need....and the price has to be good compared to the amount of product. I found that there's a lot of great cheap products at the store...and my hair reacts even better to the cheaper stuff.

aubreys gbp, j.a.y, or hsr they are very thick so you can dilute with filtered water and it still be effective. on the ground whole foods, health food store and vitamin shoppe should have it.

I honestly dont know any conditioners that are similar to Aveda damage remedy and Ive tried many of the ones listed above. I say get V05 while you wait for your Hairveda.

What size does the Hairveda conditioner come in, is the shipping expensive, how long does it last?

I say go ahead and get the Aveda, if you can afford it and it won't hurt your pockets.

Laylaa I went to whole foods and was so disappointed. They had GBP and white camellia? Anyways....the second ingredient was denatured alcohol. I have had BAD RESULTS messing with denat alcohol in the past. So I don't want to chance it. I'm so bummed because I REALLY want to try it.....but I digress.....

Soooo Hairveda takes about 3 weeks usually....I thought I had one more jar of my Strinillah but i'm completely out. So mad at myself for not checking my inventory before now. Argh!

I'm going to the drug store now to try to find Curl Junkie.

I will look up the recipe. Thnx!
