I'm about to cheat on Mizani...

Hey Girls,
This weekend I had my heart set on relaxing. I ordered my Mizani relaxer from sheldeez last weekend and I expected to come on this past Friday. They usually have quick shipping...


...No Relaxer...


So I was like, I am for sure that I will get it today. Keep in mind I have my heart set really hard on relaxing since I have 1 inch of newgrowth and I have a photoshoot this week. I was building my anticipation, LITERALLY having dreams abot relaxing lol. I was avoiding the mailbox all day today because I *knew* it wasn't there for some reason.


...Still no relaxer...


I am about to cheat on Mizani. That ORS is sounding really nice too. Someone talk me out of it or should I go for it? Right now I am 70% sure...


There is a walgreens right up the street from me and I have no problem walking in the pitch black for a relaxer. I can't stay commited for nothing!

Are you using Mizani no-lye (sensitive scalp)? If not I would not suggest you go to ORS because you might get lots of shedding. But when I was on the no lye side I used ORS and had good results. If you were not so far away I would tell you to come pick up some Mizani cuz I have lots. Be strong!

LOL, well, thanks for replying. And the sad part is NO ONE I know uses Mizani lol.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am now 69% from 70 lol.

I think I will buy it and keep the receipt. Maybe wait until tomorrow to see if it comes...

I think you should wait till tomorrow and see if it comes. I really don't know about ORS relaxer but gathereing from your screen name and gorgeous hair, mizani has done you well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you get it tomorrow so you can keep that pretty healthy hair that you have and not risk changing the relaxer now esp since you said you had a photo shoot.

I cheated on Mizani sensitive scalp rhelaxer and I paid the price. Except my other man was.... Dark N Lovely Never again. Never ever again! I thought, hey no lye is no lye right? WRONG. That stuff dried my hair out to a CRISP and had my stuff plastered to the side of my head for 2 weeks Next time I'll do the price comparison and actually take it seriously . . . $14 Mizani mini tub or $5 Dark N Lovely fully loaded kit . . . hmmmmm . . .you decide.

I use the sensitive scalp rhelaxer now since I can just go pick it up down the street. No waiting on snail mail.

Don't do it MizaniMami, pleeeeze don't do it. You can not be steppin' out on Mizani....Girl, you know he's always gonna be good to your hair. I did it (more than once), and paid the price each time. I had to come crawling back to Mizani (with my dry, shedding, sorry hair ). Now, all is well with me and my Mizani.
