Currently my hair is in a sew-in. Now they say that you're suppost to wait about 2-4 weeks after you take the sew-in down before you can put a relaxer in. Now, I know my new-growth will have a mind of it's own. So, do you ladies know of anyway to straighten the hair temporarly?

So that when I get ready to relax it, it wont break off:ohwell:

bump? well in the mean time I'll be using my mega-tek

You can just try flat-ironing the new growth. I'm not relaxed but when I do rollersets and want a sleeker look, I just go over the roots with a mini flatiron. Works like a charm :yep:

If you are not opposed to heat you could use either a flat iron, hot comb or blow it out.
