Is this correct? I can't pay that much, my order was on eight dollars and some change. Oh well off to find another place to buy it from.

Yes, that is correct for IHE. Their henna and indigo prices are cheap, but they make up for it in shipping and handling. If you are ordering larger quanties 1 k or more, then the cost is very good.
I've ordered from them, and their product is great quality. My latest order was 1 k of indigo, and the total cost including S&H was $28.20. The S&H was $21 on that order. At most of the better places online, 1 k of the indigo alone would cost me more than that.
ETA: Another place to order henna from is FNWL. I love their henna, it is always smooth and rinses out very easily. You can get 1 lb for $6.25 and use the LHCF discount. If you order less than $20 worth of product they add on $5 to your order for their small order fee.
