Has anyone ever used these? I saw them at Walmart and have always wonder if they work. Well, they are now $3.50 and just about all are gone. You heat the rollers in the microwave and then roll your hair for 1 - 2 minutes. The roller surface is velvet. I don't like the plastic cover but I can always use end papers.

I got some from Walgreens. They worked well for me (nice curl with the large ones) BUT they scare me b/c I was thinking that too much product residue would make my microwave explode.

Thanks, I didn't think about product residue. I did put a few in this afternoon and it looks like they may be ok. I may just use them after my hair has been shampooed. That way it's nice and clean.
