If You Were Stranded Miles Away From A Good BSS!

What would you do if were stranded miles away from an acceptable/decent beauty supply store? I only ask, because I'm not close to one at all. There is a hair salon here that sales Kerastase. I have resorted to the following behaviours, since I have been away from a decent hair store:

1. I have more hair dreams now.

2. I look at hair porn ... www.havanabeautysupply.com/ .. all those lovely, sensuous, silky and exotic products

3. Ordering hair products online that I don't even need, but want to try.

4. Looking through my Dream Book=Kerastase Book with every product they have .. I look at this almost daily ...lol.

Yes pathetic ... I know! Most of what I have here was stuffed into mysuitcase on my last journey home or ordered online.

On one hand, I'm around beauty supply stores that have almost everything that I really use. But on the otherhand, there are products that I like that aren't available in my area.

What I do is stock up the things that aren't readily available to me when I get a chance to get to them.

Also, could you try going to a regular grocery/health food store and make some of your own concoctions? For example, I don't know if you do hotoil treatments, but if you can't find one that you really like in your area, go to the store and get the ingredients and make your own. The same thing goes for conditioners...

That's what I would do if I were in your situation (along with ordering products online, which you're already doing).

That happened to me with LUST. I called all the Sally's BSS in my area and had to pm Pebbles to determine which one store in our state still had a jar.

Hmmm... Is Pebbles stock piling the LUST?

Maybe you should just come and visit Oslo,
Oslo is not so far away from Rogaland.
I can send you the address to some desent hair stores.

I have been in Norway for 15 years (I am 25 years old).
It is ok living in Norway, but I travel a lot to Dominican Republic and Italy.

But I known that Norway can be very boring. I have plans to move to Italy.

Excuse my inglish, is not very good. (My stronger sides are spanish, norwegian and italian)

I also like to look at my list of things I want to buy and the website. I like to comparison shop and see what online store has the cheapest price.

Sometimes I have to go to several different drugstore to find products by the same brand. Some stores only carry some products.

Also, only some stores carry some "flavors." CVS has like every flavor V05 but the Target here doesn't! It's annoying!

Well, I may have to get those addresses from you, if I decide to remain in the country. I may be moving back home. I need to make up my mind.

-- You mean to tell me it's not any better in Oslo? I would think that it's much better than Rogaland. The biggest city we have here is Stavanger, and well, that's still small to me, compared to where I come from.

Have you seen Wild Growth Oil in and of the shops in Oslo? I called the two number that you posted, but they have never heard of the product before. Well, if I stay I will definately be taking a trip down there soon!!!

Oh believe me, I have ordered from the internet plenty. However, I am charged 24% VAT, a handling fee and another fee ... not sure what it is. The last thing that I ordered ... sit down for this one ... I ordered something that was the equivalent of $37.00 ... I ended up getting a bill form Customs for about $31.00

You should have been here that day. I had a pissy attitude that day. It was something from the UK ... Black Like Me. It smelled horrible. SO I decided I would send it back ....guess what! I went to the post office to ask how much it would cost to return the package ... approximately the equiv. of $30.00! Talk about annyoing ...

I called two of those places. One is checking to see if they can get Wild Growth. But in the mean time, a friend is sending it to me from the states.
