If you use lustrasilk shea butter cholesterol

I noticed today that when I used the shea butter cholesterol that I purchased from sallys it is a different texture and darker color than the one that I purchased from walmart. It also smells different but it works the same still good ole moisturized hair and thats why I love it. Has anyone else noticed this?
