Do you think that moisturizing spray is really necessary? I don't think it really does much of anything for dd's hair (or mine for that matter). It seems to me the products perform the same with or without it, but I'm not 100%. I've substituted other leave-ins for it and had similar/same results, but the makers of the product insist this step is crucial. Just wondering what others think--I'm using primarily on my DD.
