Well, that's my philosophy from now on...
I was strongly considering self relaxing. It sounded like such a great idea - completely having the care of my hair in my hands.
BUT, when I practiced with conditioner, it was seriously frustrating. My mirror in my bathroom doesn't offer as good of a freakin' visual as I thought I did.
So, last night, I stopped and thought for a bit. Ever since I've been going to the stylist that I had been seeing (I've gone to her twice since late June), my hair has been really nice, healthy and thick. She listens to every request that I make without question - not trimming my hair, no super hot flat irons, etc etc. She even lets me bring in some of my own favorite products. The only thing I was concerned about was overlapping...and even so, now that I think about it, I don't think she really overlapped all that badly.
Given that I have this kind of stylist (which everyone admits is SOOO hard to find), AND given that my hair is so healthy, why the heck should I go trying to change things now?
LHCF is a great source of information, and a wonderful way to find out new things to try for your hair to get better results. But remember ladies, if something already works, STICK WITH IT!
