when I purchased some ORS Hair Mayonnaise, Joico Kpak intensive hydrator, Elasta QP Mango Butter and our beloved Patene Mask did I find our enemy "Alcohol"?

I find Cetyl Alcohol :nono:, Cetearyl Alcohol :nono: and Stearyl Alcohol :nono:.

Some one help me out and tell me these are GOOD alcohols :drunk:

those are not Isopropl Alcohol (spelling?). Those are known as Fatty alcohols and they actually add moisture to the hair.

Put any of those into google and read up on them. "Alcohol" is just a name given to a substance that has a molecule thats shaped/made a certain way. Different Alcohols can have different uses. Just like Rubbing alcohol isnt edible but drinking alcohol is.... Same thing.

I found you a better explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatty_alcohol
