I have read that after slavery, "Beautifying became part of black uplift, especially in regards to women"

In Africa, hair care was a part of cultural identity, tradition, status. Bringing us here, took that important element of ourselves away. I intend to revisit it, and have a "coming home" of sorts. I'm ready to cultivate, and anoint my hair. I'm talking about reawakening my feminine beauty. I'm talking Nefertiti, and Queen Candace.

It's on!

Thank you so much. I always knew there was something I was missing. My hair would grow, but I didn't know how to keep it on my head.

By the way, I saw your album yesterday, and you are truly inspiring. It's nice to know that incredible women like you, will be guiding me on my journey. Thank you!
