I have read that after slavery, "Beautifying became part of black uplift, especially in regards to women"
In Africa, hair care was a part of cultural identity, tradition, status. Bringing us here, took that important element of ourselves away. I intend to revisit it, and have a "coming home" of sorts. I'm ready to cultivate, and anoint my hair. I'm talking about reawakening my feminine beauty. I'm talking Nefertiti, and Queen Candace.
It's on!
